This course on the book of Acts will walk you through this insightful book about the early church. The five video lectures are taught by Dr. Mark Yarbrough. Currently serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs for Dallas Theological Seminary, Dr. Yarbrough loves the classroom and interacting with students who are preparing for various ministry endeavors.
The Book of Acts, written by Luke, is an extension of Luke’s Gospel narrative. It follows the history of the early church in the first century, describing their initial struggles as well as their successes for the kingdom of God. Acts is where we learn about Paul’s missionary journeys throughout the Mediterranean, about the sharing of the gospel with Gentiles, and about some of the persecution the church faces as Christianity spreads.
